Apparently the pres met with two foreign officials right after firing Comey, to let them know he had solved a problem. Its not yet clear all the juicy details but it seems likely they have been scooping all info, so if there are or have been improper things going on then it will probably come out.

are you joking? this whole "presidency" is an improper thing! that this nutcase could get elected shows that democrazy in the west isn't much better from what i have been seeing here in india and more so, bangladesh:

right before the next election party cadres go through the villages and paint school buildings, sink tubewells, and do other nice things. they also organize some type of procession of 'supporters' who get paid with money and booze. in local news each party promises all types of benefits to whoever the target group is at the moment, and those who put together the biggest roadshow win.

specially in rural areas most can't read or write, or understand what politics is all about, but they understand cash & booze in hand and, i that's not enough, are intimidated on election day by whichever party controls the police at the time.

looking what's happening in the US and, similar if less so (yet) in europe, i'm wondering if we shouldn't get back some halfway-decent royal family to manage things...

Well, i agree its a farce. According to Woodward's book 'Fear'.. Before he decided to run for election, he donated money mostly to democratic candudates and 'pro choice' causes. He decided he did not have a chance running against Cinton as a Democrat so he transformed into a Republican.

He lies, lies, lies and lies again. He has turned the entire country into dishonest cheaters. For only one example, the DOJ was caught on reporting the immigration crime stastics. The numbers they reported were for a period of 55 years, but they said it was the period starting 2003 to 2010. These 'facts' spread all over the media to convince people they have an illegal alien problem.

So they say oops, sorry. We will try to get it right next time.

But anyway, we have dishonest people.

I meant that It doesn't mean they are doing illegal stuff, (but i can't imagine how they are not).. but it seems like some people have a record of it and justice will happen, the good guys will prevail. Order will be restored.

I was a registered Republican for many years, I registered as independent after the news of the prisoner abuse. I'm mostly Libertarian i suppose. But for now I like the Beto guy, he has a tech and business background, he's younger, and he seems to care about people. I have had enough of the baby boomers in politics, they should all retire and enjoy their golden years, and let people be. Their 'wisdom' is not helping.

me too; but i'm not convinced that we really get this stuff wrong, or if it's lies within lies and conspiracies behind conspiracies that's presented to us in the end. they are all lying, to each other and us, the public. honesty doesn't have a place in politics.
